Does anyone know where I can get Kurt Geiger shoes,?
really cheap, like normal high heels, without a bit showing your toes.
Red, with a big black buckle on?
I saw some in cheshireoaks the other day in the sale for about £40
I was going to go back and buy them, but they have been taken.
Anyone know where I can get some like that?
Besides ebay (i have already checked)
and the kurt geiger website.
Thanks..

Can I wear socks with slip on flats/ballet shoes?
I%26#039;ve still been wearing all my flats with bare feet but now that it%26#039;s getting colder out, I was wondering if they%26#039;d be ok with socks? One of the pairs i have is a loafer style with a mary jane buckle and I have another that%26#039;s also a loafer style, but both have a lot of skin exposed before the toe area. The others are just those cheap ones you can get anywhere.
Can I wear socks with slip on flats/ballet shoes?
Get those stocking that they have at shoe places, you know the ones that you put on when your trying on shoes when you don%26#039;t have socks on. They just go over your feet and arent that noticable.
Reply:I have seen that done.
Reply:It doesnt look that good.
But if you do do it, dont wear white socks because that looks stupid.
Reply:No way ! Wearing socks with pumps is a big no ! For the leg warmers , you can consider it but DO NOT put socks with the pumps .. Please ! ^^
Reply:I don%26#039;t think they%26#039;d look very good with socks but they do look adorable with leggings.
Reply:no you cant wear socks on fsats or ballet shoes.ballet shoes are very bad looking with socks
Reply:Socks %26amp; leg warmers are a good look :D
But if you just wana wear socks, go for it ^_^
Reply:I think it%26#039;d be okay. Set a statement. Make them look good! :D

I have a pair of 2 in. black pumps witha squared off toe and a buckle on the end. My dress is brown satin with brown lace over it. It goes above my knees, and has small shoulder puffs. Do these two things match???? What about jewlery, what should I wear? What shade tights???

Advice on shoes for black dress?
Hi everyone. I just purchased a black sleeveless dress with black beading to wear to a May wedding. I was thinking that I needed just plain black patent pointed toe pumps to wear with it, but am wondering what everyone thinks. Can I wear a peeptoe or a sling back with a buckle and not have it draw attention away from the dress? What would YOU wear?
Advice on shoes for black dress?
I like pointed toe for the office, but for weddings you can wear something sexier! If I were you I%26#039;d probably wear something open-toed, especially since the wedding is in May.
For example: http://www.endless.com/Charles-David-Wom...
I think black shoes would look very nice, but it would probably be really cute if you spiced it up a bit with an interesting color or a metallic shade. Not sure about bright red since it may be too distracting from the dress, but you may want to take the dress with you shopping and try on several different colors.
Reply:i would wear a red shoe for the pop of color. i wouldnt wear black shoes with a black dress!
Reply:i dont think a buckle would take away from the dress.
especially if your wearing black on black
do you what i think would look fantastic?
black on gold.
i love it, wear a statement glold necklace, something bold to contrast the simple dress, and maybe go for gold pumps or heels?
hope it helps xx
Reply:Dress how YOU want! Keep in mind, if there%26#039;s dancing after, you might want comfy shoes. I usually wear flats. Find a nice pair of those and I%26#039;d say you%26#039;re good to go!
Reply:boring!
u put me to sleep just describing that outfit!!!
the dress its self is cute, but the shoes???
black on black is UGLY!!!
try red, or gold, or silver, or yellow???
add some color to your life!
Reply:I would wear red peeptoes. I think it would be a addition of color. Match it with a red or silver handbag of you have one
Reply:A PAIRE OF red wedges from Prada

Matching accessories & shoes?????
i want to buy some white sandals but the buckle on them is gold, do i have to wear gold accessories with them???? i think silver goes so much better with white than gold
Matching accessories %26amp; shoes?????
either one goes really well with white... but if you do decide to use gold jewelry don%26#039;t use to much... try using simple stuff... if earrings get a bracelet and maybe a ring... and if you decide on using a necklace get a simple bracelet that can go with it...

Tap shoes?
should i get tie on or the buckle kind. i like the buckle kind because they look good on stage and look cute! but which ones are best?
Tap shoes?
If you%26#039;re serious about tap dancing, a lace up shoe is the absolute BEST way to go.
A lace up shoe is the best way to go because they%26#039;re durable, dependable, and they just plain sound better!
If you%26#039;re worried about the cutesy, stage appearance of your shoes, I suggest Brenda Bufinilino%26#039;s tap shoe. It%26#039;s lace up, has a GREAT soundboard, and it%26#039;s a really cute shoe! I know she sells them wherever she gives master classes, but I think you can also buy them on her website, www.brendabufilino.com
I also recommend getting your shoes built up. This means that there%26#039;s a double shank on the bottom of your shoe.
I%26#039;m pretty sure that capezeo now has a shoe that comes already built up, as do SoDanca, although the SoDanca shoes don%26#039;t have the TeleTone taps on the bottom, and they don%26#039;t sound as good.
A build up will make your tap sounds deeper and more audible to the audience. Also, the added weight and widened area near the top of your foot will help you master more advanced tap steps and tricks faster. It just takes a little getting used to.
hope this helped!
Reply:Well bb, let me tell you... If you want to spend good money on a good pair of tap shoes (and I mean really good) then you should look into the Capezio K360s. These are the shoes that all the pro%26#039;s are wearing right now. They were worn by Heinz himself. Another good brand (I wear these ones) is called %26quot;Just Tap%26quot;. They have a website, and they custom make them to fit your feet exactly (and are also expensive). And one last brand are called the %26quot;Miller and Ben%26quot; tap shoes. The fun thing about %26quot;Just Tap%26quot; and %26quot;Miller and Ben%26quot; is that you can get shoes in almost any color you want. Miller and Ben have a huge selection of colors, styles, and taps to put on them. A ton of pros also wear the Miller and Ben shoes. Miller and Ben sells ones with buckles as well as with ties, and K360s and Just Tap shoes are both tie up. You can get K360s and Just Tap shoes built up, but with Miller and Ben they come with the build already in them depending on the style you get. Here are a few links for you...
http://www.justtap.com/master/customshoe...
http://tapemporium.com/ (when you follow this link, find the tab that says Miller and Ben tap shoes, then click %26quot;models on sale%26quot;)
and then you can pretty much find the K360 on any dance wear website out there.
All of these shoes produce amazing sound and are widely regarded as the best shoes around. My personal favorites are the Miller and Ben shoes, but I hope you find ones that you like. I hope this was of some help. Happy dancing!!!
Reply:I alternate between dollies and bloch tapflex. the tapflex are more comfy but you cant beat a teletone tap on a dolly! Course, if you wanted a dolly you need to order them from Bailey Slipper...I swear, the rest are imposters, lol!
Reply:I wear two types of tap shoes, both leo%26#039;s brand. The first pair have no buckle or tie, they just slip on. I like them because they are good for quick changes for performances, and they are very comfortable. The second pair are character shoes with a t-strao buckle that I had taps put on them (ultratone taps).
They are both great shoes :)

How do you get a 4 yo to stop crying everytime something is hard for he to do?
She cries about everything that is difficult. Like putting on clothes, getting her shoes on, she can%26#039;t move the chair. she can%26#039;t change the channel on the t.v., she forgot her stuffed animal at home, her seatbelt won%26#039;t buckle. You name it, if it something that has upset her she howls. I try to ignore her and make her problem solve by herself, but her dad helps her fix whatever is broken for her at the moment. Put%26#039;s on her clothes, changes the channel etc. Since I stay at home with her it can be quite stressful hearing her howl 20 times a day. He doesn%26#039;t understand when he bails her out it just sets her up to continue the behavior.
How do you get a 4 yo to stop crying everytime something is hard for he to do?
There needs to be a middle ground, somewhere in between what your husband does %26amp; what you do. She is obvioulsy frustrated, every child/person is different. some get frustrated easily and other dont. If she is frustrated %26amp; mom ignores her-is that really helping her? My guess is that she would get more frustrated. She isn%26#039;t being nauty on purpose. she is feeling upset and frustrated. She needs some help. I agree If daddy does it for her she wont learn to do it herself. but remember, she isn%26#039;t happy crying all day. If you are frustrated %26amp; upset over this-imagine how she feels. When she tries to put her shoes on and gets frustrated, you need to first, calm her down. be patient. let her do it but talk her through it. sounds like she needs some encouragment. There are still things she is learning to understand %26amp; learning to problem solve. it takes a little longer for some kids. she leaves her stuffed animal at home, but she doesn%26#039;t have the problem solving skills yet to say %26quot;I left it at home, but its not feasable to ask mom to turn around, we would be late %26amp; we are already 5 mn down the road%26quot; a 4 year old just does not think that way! she is just immediatley upset. no-you shouldnt turn around %26amp; get it, but the more you get frustrated at her-she will just get even more frustrated.
Trust me-I know it%26#039;s hard. My son was the same way! (probably worse) If things get too bad-here is a good book that has helped me. The kids in the book were actually worse than my son. but it was still helpful

If you understand how they feel-you can help them more. and I don%26#039;t mean giving into their demands or tantrums, but they do some help. good luck

Reply:Hi Beth,
I had a difficult toddler too, and one method I used for distraction, was when the crying got to much, we would wash her hands under the cold tap, also if you make huge fuss over small accomplishments (even if they are miniscule, she will want to resolve many of her own issues...another thing I didn%26#039;t see you mention, was whether she is in nursery school, kids often learn by example, and my daughter started getting competitive when she saw other girls her age doing things she didn%26#039;t think she could do herself...her sense of accomplishment soared...take time...be patient and see if she can put on her own seat belt, or ask her if she can help you put on yours....or help get you dressed, or fix something simple that you have broken (or helped to fall apart) to see if she is willing to help you, then most likely she will begin to help herself. don%26#039;t forget Beth lots of ooooooohs and ahhhhhhhhs, kids love positive noise!

Reply:find a happy medium, and hopefully you and your hubby can agree to this. Help her by calming her down %26amp; give a little help, but don%26#039;t do it for her. If she can%26#039;t put her shoe on then show her how (even if you have shown her 100 times b4) Don%26#039;t over indulge when she cries, but I wouldnt ignore a 4 year old when they are obviously upset and frustrated. That is not helping her solve her problem. You cant help a 4 year old %26quot;learn to problem solve%26quot; by walking away to cry in frustration. that isn%26#039;t teaching her anything.
If she cant get her shirt on then calm her down, you must remain patient if you want her to be patient. tell her to slow down and tell her she can do it. you may need to give just a little help to keep her from getting too upset.
Reply:start singing her %26quot;my favorite things%26quot; from %26quot;the sound of music%26quot; and then she won%26#039;t feel so bad

Just be calm and patient, and tell her to try again. If she refuses, then say %26quot;well, if you can%26#039;t get your shoes on, I guess you%26#039;ll have to stay home%26quot; and continue to get ready and go out the door without her. She can do it if she tries - only help her after she%26#039;s tried several times and then asked nicely and calmly for help.
Reply:Just tell her to calm down and offer just a little help. Your right she needs to do it on her own, but sounds like she really needs a little help, if nothing else, just with the frustration. By calming her down and walking her through it with encouragement you will help build her confidence. Don%26#039;t go overboard by running every time she whines, but when she does, calmly ask her to explain why she is upset. tell her to use her words and there is no need to cry, tell her to calm down and you will help her. If she can%26#039;t get her shoe on, then loosen the strings, then let her do the rest. Ignoring her will only add to her frustration. I understand it%26#039;s sometimes hard to know what to do b/c you don%26#039;t want to give into a tantrum, but helping a child calm down is not giving into a tantrum. The problem is not her problem solving skills, she is too upset to use those skills so first, you need to help with her frustration.

I see girls wearing that same style outfit every single day.
why not instead of the skirt, wear a pair of black skinny jeans...
that will look a lot better, and instead of having such a typical american look, you could have a more trendy %26quot;kate moss%26quot; look

Reply:Sure as long as you%26#039;re comfortable in it and the skirt isn%26#039;t too short for school rules.
I really like the top.
Reply:I don%26#039;t like the shirt...
Everything else is cute though!
Maybe you should find a little longer skirt with frayed edges and stuff.
Then wear it with like...an Abercrombie shirt. Isn%26#039;t that what little girls much like you wear these days?
Reply:thats cute
i didnt see the earings though i only saw a necklace
Reply:Cute, but I think you should find a skirt in a darker wash to match better with the black in your outfit. Here are some ideas:

Do I have OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)?
I do NOT have the major symptoms of OCD (counting things, washing hands or doing other routines obsessively, etc.) However, I do sometimes suffer major anxiety over little things that no one else would notice, but I notice. For example, a purse that I bought had a tiny, miniscule, unnoticeable (except by me, when I look very closely) scratch on the brass buckle, and I obsessed over it like crazy! Everyone told me you could barely see it, but yet I let it bother me for weeks. It%26#039;s only when I buy new things, whether it%26#039;s clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. I will find something wrong with it, usually it is barely noticeable, like a tiny scratch that nobody will even see, and I fixate on it. It has to be perfect. Usually I just end up making myself miserable. Is this OCD? Its the only OCD-ish symptom I would have? Thanks for any answers. Serious answers only, please! Ive used Yahoo answers before, and some people can be mean in their responses. Just looking for answers.
Do I have OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)?
I was a psych major and from what I remember, it does not sound like you have OCD. Maybe a mild mild version, but a lot of people are like that. I would diagnose you as an anal-retentive perfectionist. And yes that is a technical term. OCD patients have such serious symptoms that they usually can not even leave their own home because everything has to be just right or the anxiety puts them into a hyperventilative state of panic. Maybe you should see a professional if you have anxiety though. Anxiety manifests over time and eventually you could end up with OCD. You don%26#039;t want that to happen because when yo get that far, it%26#039;s much harder to repair the damage.

Reply:You may have some minor version of ocd. If you feel like it is taking over your life, see your md. You may need a small dose of maintainance med to help to calm down.
Reply:It sounds like it could be but I%26#039;m not a doc. I obsess over a lot of things also but I don%26#039;t do counting or hand-washing. I don%26#039;t know if I have OCD but I know I drive my own self batty over it and it isn%26#039;t good.
I guess that is the real point. Might want to find a doc you can talk to about this.

Do belts come off at Airport Security?
I know shoes have to come off, even if they%26#039;re just flip-flops, but I%26#039;m wearing a cheapy cloth belt with a simple metal buckle. Will it need to be removed at the security checkpoint as well? it%26#039;s been a long time since I%26#039;ve flown!
Do belts come off at Airport Security?
No belts are okay unless they use the wand and have suspisions then they could ask you to undo it. They asked me to undo mine :)
Reply:It depends on the airport.
Now they have x-ray machines that take a picture through all your clothes, so it%26#039;s not necessary to take anything off.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/07/1...
Reply:It depends on the type of belt. The TSA will not make you take it off, unless the notice it to have huge metal buckle ,but many belts will set the alarm off. So you are better off taking it off when you are tal=king other things off.
One time I forgot to take mine off and it didnt set the alarm off. But i still do it anyway.
Reply:Only if it beeps at the metel thingie. If it goes beep, they will tell you to take it off. If it goes beep again, then prey!!

Reply:If the belt bucket is bulky, you better remove it - in general, everything that is somehow thick and bulky, like a pack of handkerchiefs or a large watch, may make trigger the alarm

What to wear under a white or black button up?
Your second link does%26#039;nt work dear. But I would go with a dark button down for a night out on the town. I think the jeans with nice shoes is a great idea.
Reply:Go with a nice plain white tee.
Reply:the black button seems more fun, and since it has the ruffles i seriously think if you were it with something under may look too BUSY...its an attractive shirt already, so just go with a simple wife beater...the white one not so much, it looks boring
Reply:I say for the white one for a nice look just do like a regular t-shirt , plain white, one with the tag all just melted onto the shirt.
The black one would look hot with like a red or a blue underneath. Id see you and Id be like
%26quot;Wheww...look at that intense but suttel accent to that black shirt, I should show him my.....%26quot;
But I agree with homefry that said the white one is boring. It is, but for a nice dress shoe night out you dont want to stand out too much.

Dead beet or over reaction?
My husband has pushed me over the edge. There is so much detail I cannot include here because of lack of space, but I%26#039;ll try to do my best. We%26#039;ve been married for almost 4 years. We have two beautiful boys, ages 1 and 3. My husband has a HUGE anger problem, and over reacts to everything, then says he%26#039;s sorry afterward, because he knows he%26#039;s going to lose me if he doesn%26#039;t do something.
Tonight I went to a meeting and was 10 minutes late getting home (he had to go back to work) and he brought the kids to me, and put them on the ground in the parking lot (the 3 year old with no shoes, and the 1 year old in just a diaper and t-shirt). Keep in mind it%26#039;s Idaho in Mid November! To top that one off, he brought them to me not even buckled in the car let alone in car seats (and was driving like a maniac, they were all over in the back seat).
After this happened, I called him to ask what was going on, and he told me %26quot;go to hell, and F*** off.%26quot; and hung up on me.....
Dead beet or over reaction?
Sounds like it%26#039;s time to speak to a divorce lawyer. I%26#039;m sorry but he%26#039;s a creep. Make sure you have all your finances in order, a bag packed for you and your son%26#039;s and then MOVE THE HECK OUT!
%26quot;Anger issue%26quot;? Sounds more like ABUSE to me! And dropping your children off like that, that%26#039;s just child endangerment!
Wow!
I don%26#039;t have enough space to rip him, so honey--just remember---NO MAN IS WORTH YOUR TEARS!
Kick him to the curb and make a new life for you and the boys---they do NOT, I repeat DO NOT need to see %26quot;Daddy%26#039;s anger%26quot; as a role model--a BLUEPRINT--for their future relationships.
Good luck and God bless, kiddo!

Reply:Not only does he have an anger problem he responds irrationally when it gets the better of him.
If you think he can be saved, suggest anger management. He must be aware of his problem and should be receptive.
You might also start documenting his unruly behavior. This information may come in handy. It will certainly justify any actions you take resolving the problem he has created for you.
Reply:dump him and get full custody, his anger is out of control and abusive. He needs to have a wake up call .

Relief conquered anxiety. I’d been worried I wouldn’t get all the classes I’d asked for in my transcript. Taking five Advanced Placement classes was a lot of work, too much for most people, but I knew that I could do it. The classes weren’t necessarily hard but the colossal workload attached to them was extremely tedious and time consuming.
Fear overshadowed relief; eclipsing anxiety. A new school, a new life, a new home. The three glorious gifts I’d been given by moving down south to Killeen. It was with my concession that it was done, Mom didn’t even have to drag me from the lushes’ comforts of Austin to come to the mundaness that was and would always be Killeen. I turned the yellow sheet of my schedule over for the crude overview map of the school, searching for my first period English class in Room 108. I sighed and walked off to make a desperate attempt at finding it.
I made it to class a couple of minutes late having to ask a random person in the hallway to escort me to class, but I found this didn’t matter anyways. The teacher wasn’t even there. I bent my head over, carefully examining the laces of my shoes, and stalked off to an empty seat in the very back of the room. I shrugged off my empty book bag into the space below my chair, gazing around the classroom to view this foreign habitat that was my new one.
The first thing I realized was how overly decorated it was. Literature posters plastered every space of the walls, overlapping the original white behind so thoroughly that not even a speck of it was visible. The teacher’s desk was despicably messy: Papers books, and pens were scattered all about it, even from this distance that was plainly visible.
The second thing that I realized was how segregated everyone was. There was an invisible line in the class dividing the band geeks and anime nerds on the left of it and the jocks and other people who wore extremely tight clothes on the right of it. This was nostalgic; it had been exactly the same back in my old school. Though there had been a middle group, which I had been a part of, that served in place of the invisible equator. Both groups seemed to have liked us equally; I thought of us as being neutral. It seemed things would be different at this school. Inevitably, I would no longer be able to remain neutral and would have to chose between one of the sides, being that weird new kid in the back of the classroom would soon no longer be an available option. For now though, it was a more appealing alternative.
I sighed and dropped my gaze from my surroundings and looked down at my heavily graffitied desk, contemplating the events that led me to be here. Mom’s and Dad’s divorce had not been as dramatic as I thought it would be, considering the enormity of their personalities, but in fact it turned out to be a clean, mutual break. Mom was exhausted of the city life in Austin and had out rightly said to Dad that she wanted to move back to her hometown of Killeen. Of course Dad didn’t take this well at all; he had been born, raised, and even went to college in Austin. He refused, Mom filed for divorce, he agreed, and I was left betwixt the two.
I truly did love my dad just as much as I loved my mom, but if it were a question as to whom I’d rather live with, he wouldn’t be the one to come out on top. So a week after my birthday on the twenty-second of June, I was packing my bags and getting prepared to spend the remaining month of my summer vacation in Killeen. After moving everything into the new house, which was actually only slightly smaller then the one back in Austin, I went around town to see if there was anything to whisk away the unavoidable hours of boredom from being inside the house for too long. I drove around the small town, went inside its shops, and even took a brave stab at going inside its disappointedly tiny mall, when I came to the conclusion that I had willingly moved to the most dismal, boring place in Texas; possibly in the whole U.S.A
I could not understand Mom’s affinity for Killeen try as I might, and soon found myself privately wishing I had chosen to stay with Dad back in Austin.
A beep over my head pulled me out of my thoughts and the sound of a girl’s voice issued around the classroom, announcing to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance and Texas Flag, which were succeeded by a moment of silence. After sitting down back in my graffitied desk to buckle in for the silence, I noticed how everyone’s heads all darted towards me as soon as they too had sat down. I felt my cheeks turn red and quickly looked down at my desk, starring intently at the name someone had carved into it. Nicholas.
“Thank you,” came the girl’s voice once again. “Now will you please turn on your T.V to channel 76 for E.T.V; today’s Eagle announcements.”
I looked up at the T.V, a more satisfactory distraction, expecting for someone to turn it on, but no one bothered. I could no longer feel anyone’s eyes gazing intently at me, but I looked around anyways just to be positive. The people on the left were all grossly emerged in a conversation about the newest episode of an anime involving ninjas; the people on the right were recounting the events of last Saturday’s party with extreme enthusiasm.
Nobody was paying the slightest bit of attention to me, having found their own social life much more interesting than the new kid in the back of the room. I relaxed a little, my disposition becoming less rigid. I looked up at the clock above the whiteboard behind the teacher’s desk to see what time it was. 9:05. This must have been a pretty horrible teacher to be late for her own first period class on the first day of school.
My eyes casually looked around the class before sinking down to my desk again, but before they did I saw not quite everybody had looked away from me. A boy with short brown hair and deep chocolate eyes on the right side of the room had looked up from his cell phone that he had been avidly texting on and met my gaze expectantly. I considered dropping my eyes from his but thought that doing so would have been rude, so I simply stared back. I had anticipated for this to be awkward but instead found the unasked attention he was extorting toward me was contrarily pleasant.
I weighed the few option presented to me. There was a wide open door for me to walk through if I was to submit to its provocation, but I knew how conceited and selfish people on the other side had the potential to be and ordinarily were. The other door beside this one was marginally open; only a fraction of light escaped from its crack. If I were to forcefully open this door then I knew that that meant I would be skyrocketed to the bottom of the school’s food chain. Even if the people down there with me were much kinder then the people higher up, I didn’t fancy being a lowly producer; not even close to being a primary consumer. I felt an unfathomable longing for the middle group that had always been there, I only now acknowledged how much I missed them.
Unsure if I was making the best decision or not, I felt the muscles of my mouth uncomfortably twitch as I gave the gawking boy a timid smile. This had evidently been the sign of reassurance he had been looking and hopefully expecting to see because he flashed me an unabashed smile, revealing the braces on his teeth which didn’t mitigate the radiance of them in the slightest.
The handle of the classroom’s door turned as someone from the other side opened it and I was forced out of curiosity to drop my prolonged gaze and instead look at who had entered the classroom: A squat women with short, fly-away, brown curly hair with some traces of gray in it who was wearing glasses that framed outrageously gray eyes. The people on both sides of the classroom quickly shifted their desks away from each other and stared placidly at whom I assumed had to be the teacher, silently evaluating how strict she might be. I gave a final fertile glance at the boy I was starring at and saw he had decided to take the same course of action at the same time I did. He winked at me before turning back around to face the front of the room and I surprised myself by genuinely smiling. Perhaps this place wouldn’t be as horrible as I had expected it to be.
By now, the teacher had sat down in her own wooden, arched chair and was shuffling through the untidy items spread out among her desk. Once again, I looked up at the clock and saw only five minutes had transpired since I last looked at it. She was fifteen minutes late for her own class.
“Ah, here it is!” she exclaimed in a heavily drenched Irish accent as she extracted a white paper from the top of a teetering pile of papers that looked as if the most gentlest breeze could cause them to topple over. “Now when I call your name, I would like you to respond with “here”. I’m very sure you are all used to this by now anyways….Jade Adkins!”
“Here,” I responded quietly, looking back down at the embedded name on my desk as I felt the eyes of turned head piercing through me.
“Eh? No Jade Adkins?”
“No, no. I-I’m here,” I stuttered helplessly, speaking a little louder then before. My eyes still hadn’t left the name on my desk and my cheeks burned even more fiercely from the drawn out attention focused on me.
“Well, speak up next time,” said the teacher in a tone meant for someone who had done her a deep wrong. She muttered something unintelligent under her breath, more then likely in Irish just in case somebody in the front row overheard her, and continued on with the roll. “Justin Armani!’
My second chapter( first four pages of it)?
AWESOME job. And I don%26#039;t say that a lot. Your word choices are mature, you have a good story here.
The only advice I have for you is to make us understand the character. Make us want to be friends with Jade, to know her. A good book is one that will make you gasp when the protagonist is shocked, cry when they are hurt, and laugh when they%26#039;re happy.
But other than that, I give you 4 stars out of five.
Keep up the good work!
Reply:Awesome! I read the first chapter too. I like this story.
How do I wear a waist belt?
My sister gave me a black waist belt for xmas, it%26#039;s stretchy on the back but with a leather buckle bit. It%26#039;s really nice but the problem is I have no clue how to wear it! I don%26#039;t tend to wear dresses very much, so can I wear a waist belt with trousers?!?
I was thinking perhaps with dark denim jeans? But i%26#039;ve only seen people wearing the belts over long Tshirts with jeans, but it%26#039;s too cold for just a Tshirt at the moment, so can you wear them over a jumper? or do you put the jumper over the belt?
Also someone said to match your trousers to the belt but does it have to be an exact match? Would dark denim do? And also what colour top should I wear? Does that then have to match my shoes?!
Sorry to be such a dunce but I am not at ALL fashionable and i generally get these things spectacularly wrong! Any advice is very welcome! (Or links to pictures for that matter!)
For style tips purposes I%26#039;m mid twenties, UK size 12 and 5ft 8in.
Thanks very much!!!
How do I wear a waist belt?
You could wear it over a lightweight t-shirt with a fine gauge long line cardi over the top, the layers should provide enough warmth.
A jumper dress would also work with this belt, as would a fitted shirt and jeans. The denim should be dark and straight-leg (or skinny if you prefer) as a stonewash or lighter demin will look odd with the colour of the belt.
You could wear it over a jumper as long as the jumper is a fine knit, anything thicker will look too chunky with the belt.
Top doesn%26#039;t have to match your shoes, don%26#039;t worry about colour matching everything, just as long as you haven%26#039;t got wild clashed of shade and colour (so keep everything dark, mid or pale toned)! Unless you want to go for that look of course...
Reply:wear it round your hips over a jumper. it doesn%26#039;t have to match your shoes or boots.
Reply:DON%26#039;T wear it over something bulky like a jumper (this is best left to catwalk models!). if you%26#039;re skinny and have a small bust, wear it just under the bust on your ribs (especially with a tunic) If you%26#039;re more curvy, use it to cinch in your waist and give an hourglass shape. also use it over shift dresses to give more definition to your waist. you could wear it with something looser like a shirt. if it%26#039;s black it would look good with black jeans, dark denim jeans, browns, greys. nothing to bright.

Reply:The only way I think chunky waist belts look good are with dresses. Since you said you have a black belt Id go with a white dress.
Reply:wear it over a long sweater that goes a little past your mid thigh. Make sure your shirt is tight. Then wear some darkwash jeans with heels.

Red Patent Belt?
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a red patent leather belt that would go with these shoes:
http://www.lordandtaylor.com/gifts/Onlin...
I%26#039;m looking for one that has a large buckle feature like the one they show on Aldo%26#039;s website but don%26#039;t actually sell (it%26#039;s very frustrating!)
I%26#039;m trying to put together an outfit. So far I%26#039;ve searched:
Nordstrom
Macy%26#039;s
Lord %26amp; Taylor
Wet Seal
Delia%26#039;s
Forever21
Aldo (obviously)
Target
Ann Taylor
Talbots
New York %26amp; Co
Can anyone find anything close?

When do you know for sure it is time to push away from the trough and stop eating junk food? I'll go first.
1. Men - When all of your shoes are slip ons, because to lace them would mean un buttoning and unzipping those pants.
2. Women - all my slacks are black.
3. Men - my Plumber%26#039;s crack is showing, and I%26#039;m an accountant.

5. Men - The length of my belt is longer than the distance from my belt buckle to the floor.
6. Women - I can never find any underwear that fits unless....I go to size ....not that!!!
7. Men - I wear my shirttail out, to hide my gut.
8. Both - give up soft drinks and fast food? Isn%26#039;t there another way?
9. Your turn.

Outfit Help!!!?
I have these shoes that I need 2 find an outfit 2 wear with. They are black pumps (4 inches) and have black sequins all over them. The stores I like are wet seal, american eagle, hollister, abercrombie, aeropostale, the buckle, macys, dillards, nordstrom, and a lot of other stores. The outfit needs 2 be somewhat dressy. Something like a cute tunic with leggings. THANKS!!!

Graduation dress question?
I am graduating from a certain campus to another one (not telling youu) and i have this gorgeous 120 (on sale) dress and 70 dollar white shoes ( http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/23853524/c/... ). I am having seconds thoughts. The dress has little buttons all the way down and lace and crocheting and embroidery and is GORGEOUS but i was thinking about putting a red leather belt with a gold buckle right under the %26quot;chest area%26quot; and wearing bright red ballet flats. Should i or not?
Graduation dress question?
do what makes you happy this only happens this time trust your instincts
Reply:I think your shoes are perfect for the dress. The red belt and red flats will be very cute also, but thats more trendy. For graduation keep it classy. Wear your white shoes then for your night out you can do the red belt thing. either way, you%26#039;ll look trendy and great. Congrats on graduating.
Reply:the dress sounds a bit busy all on it%26#039;s own stick with a simple no design solid color shoe or the dress and show will be competing for attention...
Reply:I like your idea.
Reply:Having a total image of it (and I love lace and crochet dresses). Ummm.. No. The ensemble sounds like something someone who just crossed the border would wear since they have no sense of American fashion.
Reply:You will end up fidgeting with the belt. Less is more and the dress you describe has enough going on.
The red shoes sound fun and flats will be more comfortable with all of the standing you will have to do.
Reply:Well thatd be cute..
I guess Im not sure what color the dress is though....
Good Luck
Reply:My ten year old niece says: Listen girlfriend, first of all those shoes are hot! Ditch those bright red ballet flats. The red chunky belt shows your unique style and personality. I like your style and creativity. Good luck with graduation!
Reply:sounds way cute!!
go 4 it!!
youll be the best dressed one there!!! :]
Reply:Don%26#039;t :) Go for cuteness and the shoes are wonderful! Besides, red and gold should never be done together...

It%26#039;s too busy...tone it down, by wearing a simple black military inspired jacket. When accessorizing try to pick maybe two key pieces and keep everything else low key...otherwise you look like you%26#039;re trying too hard.
Reply:like it except for the jacket
I love the shirt%26amp;shoes

Reply:It doesn%26#039;t look bad but at the same time its nothing special thats never been seen before. Generic at best.

Reply:The shoes, belt, buckle, wallet, and shirt are okay, but I don%26#039;t think you should wear the jeans and the jacket with that shirt. There%26#039;s too many things going on at once and it%26#039;ll just make people not like it. A pair of good fitting jeans with no extra details would probably look best. And ditch the jacket for a plain black leather jacket.
The shoes are freakin%26#039; awesome! lol I have high-tops and I wear them almost every day.
Reply:I think you should get more skatie type of shoes (like DC shoes or Vans) because everything is so bold and shoes should be a part of ur statement too and get rid of the chain wallet.
Reply:It is hideous. Nobody likes a %26quot;trend%26quot; geek. You ,along with every other popularity seeking wanna-be will be wearing the same thing. How un-cool could you get? Why not be the leader instead of the follower. No body will notice your so called %26quot;hip%26quot; clothing. They will just be looking at another copy-cat, stud less nerd.
Reply:I personally think it is a bit too much. Put it all on. Do you feel good? It is not always what you wear, but how you wear it.
Reply:omg....r u punk/emo/gothic? that is the most UGLIESYoutfit ive ever seen! i go for a preppy look! :1

What do yall think, any changes I need to make? Is it ugly? Does it look good?
Rate this clothing style?
It%26#039;s too busy...tone it down, by wearing a simple black military inspired jacket. When accessorizing try to pick maybe two key pieces and keep everything else low key...otherwise you look like you%26#039;re trying too hard.
Reply:like it except for the jacket
I love the shirt%26amp;shoes
