Reply:Why not buy some in Paris? I have lived in Paris and cheapest place to buy clothes is in montmartre (around the sacre coer church). They sell branded clothes at a discount (not a lot of tourists know that), but it gets very busy during the day, so best to go early (won%26#039;t open till 10 or 11 though). You would have to take metro line 2 (blue) either to the station %26quot;Anvers%26quot; or %26quot;Barbes Rochechouart%26quot;. You can even buy cute ball gowns around the second stop for 30 euros upwards.

Shopping centres with french clothes shops are %26quot;le quatre temps%26quot; in La defense (last stop of line one, yellow) and %26quot;les halles%26quot; in the centre of Paris (metro stop %26quot;les halles%26quot; and follow signs to %26quot;cenre commerciale le halles%26quot; i believe). The second one is large but very confusing to find and get around as it is an underground mall.

For a good metro map before you arrive go to the french transport website:

http://www.ratp.com/

Click on %26quot;plans de lignes%26quot; on the left hand side, then click on %26quot;Plan du Metro%26quot; in the centre of your screen and you will get an adobe-acrobat image of the metromap you can print or save on your computer.

Have fun! Its a beautiful city (and catacombes are very interesting as well)
