Cementman or Ashfaltman. If not then I would like to make him into a super villain. He can reshape his body into cement or ashfalt at will I haven%26#039;t decided which to use. Also what can you suggust for a t shirt to wear? Please don%26#039;t suggust anything striped that would resemble Sandman.
So far I have him wearing brown leather shoes no laces the kind you get at the buckle, light blue diesel bootcut jeans.
Are these names taken for a supervillain name?
I%26#039;m not sure if you mean Asphalt...not Ashphalt...if you mean the black substance used for roads.
also if this is a classic style villain use the word %26quot;man%26quot; at the end...if this is a modern style I would go simple and name him Cement or Asphalt.
For a T-Shirt I would give him a ringer tee with a sledghammer on it.
Reply:There is a character called %26quot;Concrete%26quot;, who appeared in a series of the same name from one of the larger secondary publishers, but I%26#039;m fairly certain that%26#039;s about as close as you%26#039;ll find to what you are describing with %26quot;Cementman.%26quot; Concrete was essentially made of concrete, couldn%26#039;t change his form, and wouldn%26#039;t be mistaken for a human. His series didn%26#039;t particularly follow the heroes and villains formula, although he did encounter a few other people with dubious abilities.
There is also a Flash villain called %26quot;Tar-pit%26quot; who is somewhat similar to %26quot;Asphaltman,%26quot; if Asphaltman is automatically heated and sticky when he converts to his asphalt form.
If anyone has used either of the names you ask about, it would have been in the smallest of small press publications, and so few people would have seen said book or books that it really wouldn%26#039;t matter.
Cement is a light color, and asphalt is almost always black (I have seen red asphalt, but it was experimental). If you choose Cementman, go with red to contrast with the blue of his jeans, and red should also compliment the grayish whiteness of cement. If you go with Asphaltman, make the t shirt yellow, which would contrast well with the blue of the jeans and brighten up what is an otherwise very dark palette.
