Advice on shoes for black dress?

Hi everyone. I just purchased a black sleeveless dress with black beading to wear to a May wedding. I was thinking that I needed just plain black patent pointed toe pumps to wear with it, but am wondering what everyone thinks. Can I wear a peeptoe or a sling back with a buckle and not have it draw attention away from the dress? What would YOU wear?

I like pointed toe for the office, but for weddings you can wear something sexier! If I were you I%26#039;d probably wear something open-toed, especially since the wedding is in May.

I think black shoes would look very nice, but it would probably be really cute if you spiced it up a bit with an interesting color or a metallic shade. Not sure about bright red since it may be too distracting from the dress, but you may want to take the dress with you shopping and try on several different colors.
Reply:i would wear a red shoe for the pop of color. i wouldnt wear black shoes with a black dress!
Reply:i dont think a buckle would take away from the dress.

especially if your wearing black on black

do you what i think would look fantastic?

black on gold.

i love it, wear a statement glold necklace, something bold to contrast the simple dress, and maybe go for gold pumps or heels?

hope it helps xx
Reply:Dress how YOU want! Keep in mind, if there%26#039;s dancing after, you might want comfy shoes. I usually wear flats. Find a nice pair of those and I%26#039;d say you%26#039;re good to go!
Reply:boring!

Reply:I would wear red peeptoes. I think it would be a addition of color. Match it with a red or silver handbag of you have one
